An essential course for every woman, it should be compulsory! Carolyn really looked after all of our group, she is so nurturing and her knowledge of everything menopause related is incredible. We covered every aspect, and I especially enjoyed the nutrition, exercise and breathing tuition. How will the course be delivered?
We’ll be meeting weekly at Chipstead Pavilion, Chipstead Recreation Ground
What are the practical aspects?
Each week there will be a short practical lesson eg guided breathing practice, pelvic floor exercises.
Will there be extra support if I am struggling?
Yes, you will be fully supported in any area that you are struggling with. I will be on hand during working hours for any help you need.
Will I be expected to buy lots of new ingredients or supplements?
No, not at all. We will be making steady changes to our food choices but this will be within your usual weekly shop budget. All the supplements we discuss are not essential. Many can be bought cheaply if need.
How long will the group support last for at the end of the course?
We will keep our private Facebook group running for another 6 - 12 months so everyone can keep in contact and support each other.
Will the exercises be suitable for everyone?
Yes, every session will have various options to suit all levels and health needs.
Will we discuss HRT?
Yes we do cover HRT as an option to reduce menopausal symptoms.
